Parked the car in the forestry car park to the east of Glencoe village. Pre dawn start for the Pap. After the initial stage, took a more direct route up the hill by going straight on instead of turning right over the bridge. Steep and pathless at times. Quite cold and windy at the top. Decided to take the longer route on the return. Stopped to chat with another walker much lower down.

Drove through the village then a short way down the A82 to park in the NTS Glencoe car park - had our members' car park sticker on my windscreen. Forestry tracks uphill then branched off southwards at the high point. Through a gate in the deer fence. Met a couple of walkers, with their dog, who were from Ballachulish. Relatively flat plateau like summit area - the wind was so strong that I was walking at an angle to the summit, nearly got blown over several times and couldn't stand upright at the summit. Retraced my steps back down - found a sheltered spot, before getting back to the forestry track, to stop for lunch. Then back down to the car and home.
