Van camping for a couple of days, we had done 2 of the Pitridh Munros yesterday so opted for a long lie and a short day.
We read about the parallel roads of Glen Roy and headed on up to the viewpoint at about 200mtrs.

Beinn a'Mhonicag rises steeply above the wee carpark and we decided to incorporate that into a bit of a wander.

The views round he parallel roads is really impressive. Ancient loch shorelines showing the water levels at various times during the ice age. Amazing how defined and obvious they still are after many thousands of years.

We ascended the very steep grassy slope the headed right onto the bottom of the "roads". We followed this around the hillside and gained some height along the way after Coire a' Mheannain, reaching the top road. From here, the vision of the highest shoreline lends to imagining that all below you would now have been under water, massive.

Passing round under Creag na Sroine, we opted to start gaining a bit more height to come up on the summit of Beinn a' Mhonicag.

Good views around although weather seemed a bit grey and threatening, it stayed dry for all but a very light spray. Heading off down the very steep grassy hillside with views down to the car park, we spotted some cyclists making their way up the glen, hard work on the old legs, but at least it was a good long down hill after that

Back down and off to find another campsite for the night.
