Lots of forestry work going on on the initial track up, not the prettiest, lucky they weren’t working weekends. Certainly wouldn’t wanna be there when they are working. Going on till August I believe. However lovely views once you get onto the hill proper make it all worthwhile! Only one bit where trees block the path you have to take a roundabout way through the woods, but straightforward. Didn’t see another soul up there on a sunny Saturday, the forestry signs clearly scared them off!
