The Grey Corries
I took the route described on Walkhighlands.
I left Dumbarton around 5.45am and enjoyed a very quiet run up to Spean Bridge. I then made a very stupid mistake and forgot to turn of the track to Corriechoille, instead park just passed the turn off and walked straight on after 15 minutes I realised my mistake and returned to the car and drove up the track to the start point. Second start of the day at 9.45.
Cloud was still on the hills but I was hopeful that it would burn off by the time I was on the tops.
I parked the car and set off up the track.

The Wee Minster part way up the track is a strange sight.
Once passed the forested area it was onto the grassy slopes which seemed to go on for ever. eventually I got a bit of height and the cloud cleared in parts to give a nice out look.

My car and the start point is down there somewhere in the forest.
At this point I could not see the next summit but I new I was in for a bit of up and down, when I eventually arrived at Stob Coire an Laoigh I had a great view of the route to the third Munro of the day and it nearly broke my heart to see the accent and decent and then the return route.

The going could be quite hard at times.

I considered leaving the third top for another day But I’m glad I didn’t and completed all three.

As I was heading down and out I could see a couple of groups on the ridge behind me. It was nice to think I had completed it all.
A long walk back to the car down and through the forrest. I got back for about five. The biggest day I have had for a while, I'm just glad I managed it all.
. The walk down and out was the usually agony for my old knees but I was back at the car around five which was not too bad.
