I parked at the side of the A9 and set off about 9.15. I had the bike in the car and soon wish I had taken it with me, after the first steep rough very short section the track is very level and pretty smooth.

Plenty Grouse and other birds around to add interest to the walk.

It was a long slog up to the top, the path was very wide and eroded in places but I lost it a couple of times in poor visibility.

I was a bit disappointed to be shrouded in cloud but at least it stayed fairly dry, although I don't look it in this photo.
The going down and back to the car seemed easy although I wish I had taken my bike.
