Sligachan was busy, so parked at the lay-by to the south of the campsite, (closed this year).walked around the end of the loch and through the campsite to the path along the north side of Loch Sligachan, passed some ecologists setting nets in the river to monitor sea lice infestation on sea trout. Path was quite wet, took off up the hill when the crags above disappeared, pulled around to the summit which gave good views through mist to the red hills. took a bearing back toward the hotel and crossed some rough ground to get bacvk to a phone mast, where there was a track down to the lochside
