There is now a light at the end of the long tunnel.
Had always planned in leaving Seana Bhràigh to compleat on, BUT, circumstances changes.....
Time to head to Inverlael after work. Crashed the motor - well kinda wrecked it , thought about turning round at Perth, but had a think about it, pulled the wheel arch out , and headed north. I'd been watching the weather all week and tonight confirmed it would be a half decent day tomorrow
- Knew the sunset would be good and it was
Slept in the motor, was up early and walking at 0500 for the long walk in. Walk in as described in WH
- Easy to get across today
Once the path peters out, ( which is a little further than the map or GPS suggests) there's a few wee cairns dotted around steering you down to "the edge"
Ideally theres a spot to drop down at 281857. Theres a white pyramidical rock on the left and a small cairn on the right. Go down between these.
- Follow the cairns
All day An Teallach was starting to look better all the time, but now on the summit the views were amazing all round
- That's where I'm going
- Some of the "smaller neighbours " make an appearance
Got up to the summit and sat in the shelter after getting a bit close to the edge to have a look .
Another factor to take into account when you set off early is that if anything happens nobody might be along for another few hours 🙃
There was no rush today. Took some pics, it filtered to me that I only had one left now( when I got back down safely)
- The flag came out on the 1st trip, its still getting an airing - albeit this is the 2nd flag
- Love all of these
- Not a bad view on the way back
Loved it today on Seana Bhràigh - great mountain
One to go
