I read your report on Friday and completed your route (as above) with my friend on Saturday :D Thanks, this really helped me as I have wanting to do this for a few years now. Will definitely be doing this again.

Great report, very readable. I too think the haze has given you a good set of photos. Obviously it gives more attention to the foreground but also leaves the imagination free to fill in the horizon.
