Wet and windy day, parked at the layby just north of Druimavuic, and walked south a few metres, then through the gate on the left, onto the track up the hill, just beyond the house went through another gate, then followed the landrover tack to the col. The track looked like it had some recent improvements and good progress was made into the cloud at about 450m. The path was less distinct than I would have liked in 15-20m visibility but sticking to the crest of the ridge, over Creasg na Cathaig, pretty much led up to pt 804. From here in strong wind and low visibility, i just took a bearing and headed off through complicated terrain until reaching the summit cairn in +40mph winds, did not linger but reversed the bearing back to pt 804, crossed parts of path on the way and followed along a path for a while but generally trusted the compass and made it down some steep ground to the col before Creag na Cathaig. Popped out of the murk here and saw the landy track across the glen so just headed down and across Allt Buidhe to regain the track and return sodden to the car.

Not even the best waterproofs work well when the rain is delivered horizontally at over 40mph
