The longest Day
I set of at 6.30am
I cycled up the west side of Glen Feshie. I parked just before the sign that say no unauthorised vehicles beyond this point and cycled about 6.5km almost to Glenfeshie lodge. I crossed the river where the old wooden bridge used to be, it was pretty shallow so managed to keep my feet dry.

Track heading up out of Glen Feshie
I left the bike at the side of the track just before the land rover track started to get steep, it would be a 34km walk before I would pick the bike back up, The rest of the way up to Mullach Clach a Bhlair was as described in the walk highlands description.

First summit of the day Mullach Clach a Bhlair, not the most interesting of tops.
I arrived at top just before 9 and decided with the weather so clear I would follow the land rover tracks over towards Monadh Mor and Beinn Bhrotain. A distance along the track I picked up the route described in Walkhighlands for this pair.
It was a bit of a mammoth walk but the weather was good and because I had set off early it was do able. I had great views towards Glen Einich as I headed for my next top. I arrived at the summit of Monadh Mor about 11.30,

Second top of the day, Monadh Mor
the views over to The Devi’s Point, Cairn Toul and Angels Peak reminded me of anther big day in the Cairngorms. then I headed straight on towards the next one. After a bite to eat I ditched the rucksack before a big drop and climb back up before reaching the top of Beinn Bhrotain at 12.30.

Lots of stone as you approach the summit

Third and best of the day Beinn Bhrotain
Then I retraced my steps picked up my rucksack and headed back the very long track to get my bike. I had a lovely break dipping my feet in a burn half way back.
It was great to get back on the bike and the run back down the Glen was quite enjoyable. Arrived back at the car about 4.30

Probably the best bit of the day cooling my feet in a stream
The walk route doesn’t include the 6.5km cycle up Glen Feshie. I returned by the same route minus Mullach.
