Another yet toughest trip. challenging but great satisfaction afterwards, its worth the effort. this trip was originally planned Oct2021 but canceled due to severe weather in west. Been trying to do it since April, finally this week comes the weather for the toughest challenge.

After intense 4 night shifts Sunny drove up to Lochailort hotel, parked car there, took 500 shiel bus at 16:25 to Mallaig, took Ferry at 18:00 to Inverie. Settled at long beach campsite ( highly recommend this site)

Sunday 10th Jul 2022. 28.3k 2940m ascent 2139m descent 12.5 hours. foggy to start then sunny all day. Started from long beach campste, Hills: Beinn Bhuidhe 885m, Meall Buidhe SE Top 942m, Meall Buidhe 946m, Sgurr na h-Aide 859m, descent to the bealach set up camp. original plan was to reach Bidein a' Chabair camp, as the hill quite rocky after the 859 peak was concerning not be able to find a pitch at summit so decided to camp at the bealach next to the wee loch, The worst terrian you could ever imagine after crossing Carnoch bridge to the bottom of Bidein a' Chabair, bog ocean, long grass my waist high, bracken as high as me and I am allergy to those, got rashes on my legs instantly and about 20 ticks bites. Met a few people setting up tent at Sourlies around 7pm, the guy suggested me to camp there, but I had to carry on to the next hill although I was very tired at that point after through the bad terrian.

Monday 11th Jul2022. 17.26k 2069m ascent 2671m descent 10.5 hours. foggy to start then cleared after the first peak. hills: Bidein a' Chabair 867m, Càrn Mòr 829m, An Stac 718m. camped at Gleann Taodhail 200m altitude after crossing the river. the hills very rocky, uneven ground, steep heather and need to negotiate rocks a great deal as they are like layers, you walk to the edge of cliff then need to find a way down over and over again, it took twice the time as usual, the desceding was very hard and took longer than going up the hills.

Tuesday 12th Jul 2022. 12.7k 891m ascent 1070m descent 5hours. hill: Meith Bheinn 710m. walked out to Arieniskill then along the road back to Lochailort hotel to the car. Had a long lie in, didn't get up till 9:30, knowing its going to be a short day. Going up to Meith Bheinn was easy going, again the descend was hard same as the day before until get down to Loch Beoraid Dam. the going was quite easy after the dam apart from the gorge crossing part, but once you find a way down its not bad.
