Parked at the council car park at Loch Rannoch side, and cycld along the road to the locked gate, there is a pedestrian gate at the right, cycled up the track, much of it tarred road to the highpoint, from there it was a 2.5 km walk, there and back to the summit, with a height gain of about 200m, over spongy haggy ground to the summit. The view down to Loch Ericht was sublime, and mountains could be seen all around. Just over half an hour took me back to the car.

Hi I was intending to do this as a bike/hike soon. I have a heavy eMTB so at the locked gate do you think I will get it through the pedestrian gate as lifting it any height is not really an option?

My memory of it is that it is a low pedestriam
n gate that opens fully and there should be no problems
