I'm back in Crianlarich to tick off two amazing Munros in Cruach Ardrain and Beinn Tulaichean. Join me as I head in from the West instead of the more popular Inverlochlarig starting point to the East. The route gives amazing views of the Crianlarich hills and beyond. Watch as the weather constantly pivots and forces me to adapt to it. What a day!

Hi there, great, wee video. Was there much - if any - of a path up by the deer fence skirting the forest. It looks like a path on the OS map and other outdoor mapping apps, but just wanted to check. Trying to anticipate how much bush whacking/tick checking may be required, ha-ha. I'm coming from Dundee, so this side is quicker for me to get to than Inverlochlarig. Any info would be great. Cheers.

I was there last summer and if I remember correctly it's a "bit vague" lower down near the bridge but improves as you climb, staying near the fence ensures you pick it up as soon as it becomes less vague.

Hi Kris. Sorry for the late reply. There isn't really a distinct path but if you keep hugging the fence you'll be fine all the way to the Grey Height.

The grass is quite long around the bridge and initial ascent so I'd recommend gaiters and long sleeved tops to keep you covered. Once you're up on the ridge it's plain sailing.

Thanks for checking out the video 👍
