No. 282 with Chelsea and Chris

Compleated today .
No 282 - Luinne Bheinn

I'll only say one thing about the hill and todays walk.If you go up to Mam Barrisdale pass remember , don't follow the fenceline!!

From Ben lomond on 24th April 2016 until Luinne Bheinn August 8th 2022.
Lots of trials and tribulations, injuries, poor vis, lots of rain , lots of snow, chasing daylight, overnight camps. Walked every one ( personal to me). Fantastic new places to see all over Scotland.
Too many hills to mention, but a wee shout out to some, - the ring of steall, fisherfield, knoydart, slioch, Suilven, arkle, sgurr na ciche, skye, Quanaig , beinn a bleithir, Beinn Alligin, Kintail.... the list goes on and on
And one mountain I can't fail to mention , An Teallach
282 Munros
Lots of repeats
122 Corbetts
60 odd Grahams
88 Donalds.
Sitting in the bunkhouse in knoydart just now.
Just under 11 hrs today on the hill. Mixed emotions.
Cheers go to my daughter Chelsea and pal Chris who accompanied me today.
Cheers guys.
Cheers to everyone whom i met on the hills, who I walked with, who I talked crap to in bunkhouses and Youth hostels. Thanks to all who donated to any just giving page I've done over the years, mainly for Erskine.
Going fwd now I'll be helping and walking with Chelsea and Chris with some Munro's, I'll be hoping to get some more Corbetts done - there's still some great hills out there I haven't been on.
Cheers again to all and may the views be with you.
Wee mention to you Richy - cheers pal 👍
And a wee mention to the Glasgow hillwalking club ( and sunny)
And to Gayle the paramedic in inverness, and Gail 🦋
Remember folks , it's ok to turn back, the hill ain't going anywhere, just make sure you're still around to get back on it.

Just some pics from over the years

Congratulations man, but that Sub 2000 count is looking pretty paltry. You need to get that worked on!

Well done.
I think it was you and Chris I met in May at the Knoydart Bunkhouse. And again on Meall Buidhe the following day in very miserable conditions.
Enjoy the next challenge.

Brilliant stuff Alex, congratulations, great to hear you've compleated

So is it the corbetts next? You'll probably finish those before I've done the munros!
