Munro 36 for me but more importantly number 282 for dad (coop)!

A trip I couldn’t miss with him and Chris espically after he’s convinced me for so long to get out and see the hills.

2 nights staying in the bunkhouse, drinks at the old forge and walking.

Weather could have been better (by a lot) but that’s always the joy (?) of walking in Scotland.

Congratulations to my dad for a fantastic achievement 👏🏻 First time visiting Knoydart but I’ll be back

Congratulations to your Dad! Luinne Bheinn does not seem like an obvious one to finish on as it is usually done with Meall Buidhe. It would be interesting to know the rank order for the total number of compleations. I know that Ben More on Mull and Ben Lomond are common ones. My last was Bainn na Lap and I think that is quite common due to it being a relatively easy one from Corrour, so easy to get more people up including friends who do not usually climb Munros. Plus having got everyone together, you want to minimise the chances of failure. So I am interested to know why Luinne Bheinn.

Glad he's got you into hillwalking - don't let him slack off now just because he's completed

It came down to weather mostly with him being left with Seana Bhràigh or Luinne Bheinn to complete following a previous visit to Knoydart. And the way it worked out, he ended on Luinne Bheinn. After being delayed completion with the pesky covid, we were delighted to join wherever it may have been, there was never a chance of failure. I’ll have never visited Knoydart to date had it not been

I don’t know that feeling - yet (hopefully) - but there are still plenty of good hills out there to visit and enjoy
