Weather good for our first day Nr Fort William, but not good for the rest of the week, so I decided I better get going and try to complete the Mamores with Ponyexpress.
It’s a lovely walk up from Kinlochleven and we soon made good progress in the good weather, we had a little drizzle as we neared crossing the main track higher up.

The traverse along the side of the next hill looks as though it might be slightly exposed but once you are on it, this disappears :)

Then we got a great view of the mountain :D

We drifted of the main path , considering a direct route as we were only doing this hill, but thought better of it & returned to the main track and then left it as you go through the small lochs, where we had lunch and left the bags :)

Next the part that we never look forward to, the scree slope. You always have to try to find the right line. However we went slowly, you have to when you are over 70

Got back to the village in time to enjoy some excellent Chinese food at the fish & chip shop/ Chinese takeaway :) Great day out, sad to say farewell to the Mamores.
