A Thursday in September, so I was optimistic I didn't need to be at the gate for 9am; ended up with my latest ever Strathfarrar arrival, getting to the gate at 11.15am. Evidently I was still within the 25 vehicles, though there were more than I expected as I must have passed at least 10 along the glen (mainly there for fishing or doing the Strathfarrar munros). I parked by the Monar Dam and the route I did was roughly similar to Hills4Dogs report for these 2 hills. I'd done little Meall Innis an Loichel before after a corbett walk, but Beinn na Muice isn't a huge hill so I tagged on the sub2k again to make it a slightly longer afternoon of walking.

Beinn na Muice has looked impressive every time I've been down the glen doing other hills, so glad to finally get it done. Longer walk along the top to get to the actual summit than I expected, but nice views from there.

Thought I was close to the summit when I got on the ridge, but there were a few bumps like this before the actual summit

Blue skies made an appearance as I headed down the west end of Beinn na Muice to get on the track at Monar

Meall Innis an Loichel lay just across the Monar dam, a quick up and down walk
