Started from the Braeval Car Park and followed the red marker route up to the detour to the viewing point. Turn off the forestry commission road to the right and immediately through a gate and follow a rough path beside a fence heading north east. Then heading east across rough ground heading for the dip between the 400m top and 393 metre top. Here you pick up a path to the trig point. Lovely day with bright sunshine and a nice breeze to keep you cool. Leisurely pace accompanied by my wife and two daughters. None of who wished to be photographed at the summit.

Ate lunch in the lee of the cairn and then retraced the route back to the car. I would love to put GPS track on this site but do not know how to do this. I have an iphone if anyone can recommend an easy way of using this to record and upload tracks onto this site I would be grateful.
