Was lovely being up in the ski hills sans skis, the familiar beat of the Glenshee slopes laid bear for easy navigation, that is till the blizzard came in.
We done Aosda, then Cairnwell, then Gheidh, a break from the traditional route we were told, but a great walk around from our point of view. We meet a couple fellow hikers doing the route the trad way. It's great to share the learned pitfalls etc. along the way.
Due to the rain/snow/sleat combo, the well worked tracks were muddy, but totally manageable, all the other tracks were stone laid, so a pleasure to stroll along.
Whenever the sky's opened up, the glimpses of the slopes we got were breath taking, On our descent, we got a really clear view of the other side where there is six more Munros for us to take on, going to close of the Arrochar Alps first though, so keep an eye out Glenshee, we will be back.
