Parked in Laurencekirk and walked along the main street and up past the farm toward the hill. Came to a gate on the right which led into a planted young woodland, and as there was a churned up field with cows ahead, took off into the woodland. BIG mistake it was a swamp. Got through the other side and got to the top of the hill. Returning kept futher south, and crossed the woodland at its narrowest, where it was drier, and made my way back to the track, then the car. Nice quick day out.
