Congratulations Pete, that ascent looks fantastic and you grabbed some cracking shots of the views. What a way to reach the ton - well done :D

As for cracking the shin toward the summit - there's no pain quite like it.... hope the summit tourists were wearing ear plugs :lol:

Thanks for all your comments guys. It really was a great day, and I couldn't have wished for better weather :D which really helped make this walk for me. Already planning the next 100 (beers :lol: )

A fantastic trip report i must say and some stunning photos as well , im doing this myself on the 24/25th of may 2011 as im in fort william on the 23rd crash at a hostel for that night, get my bearings the morning after and maybe either then or a day after set off for 4 days/nights of bagging at least 5 munros and some hopefully great weather for the wild camping amongst the mountains, i cant wait., i will post a trip report myself with some great photos taboot when i get back.

Cracking report and on such an excellent day! I'm hoping to be up there in a couple of weeks, hope to get weather like you but doubt it!! :shock: :( Very useful to see the amount of winter snow left in the summits/corries though, gives me an idea of what is feasible in 2 weeks- thanks! :D :D
