A Munro & a Corbett from Old Bridge of Tilt

Cycled up Glen Tilt from the Old Bridge of Tilt car park, as far as Forest Lodge, where the bike was left and i set off on foot up Carn a' Chlamain. Followed the path up and was soon on the summit.

Headed back down soon after reaching the summit, got on the bike and cycled to the bridge just before Marble lodge where i picked up a path taking me to the start of the Corbett. I left the bike at the viewpoint sign just before a small bridge,then set off on foot up Beinn Mheadhonach.

Again after reaching the summit i about turned and headed back down as i had to get back for my night shift at 7.

Could have done with jumping in there to cool down

Got back on the bike and cycled back to the car park.
A very enjoyable day was had in a lovely area, with lovely weather.

Cracking pics JC - that corbett cairn is not the most impressive cairn I've seen

Good timing johnny - these two and Beinn Dearg are on my to do list.
I've also been looking at cycling part of the way - from your photos it looks as if the track up Carn a' Chlamain is almost cyclable the whole way (presumably not though) . Nice report and some helpful photos

There is a few routes up this from Glen Tilt, the route i went up you would probably have to push the bike up the initial climb, but once you get so far up i didn't see any problems with cycling.
