Parked in Cromdale and walked up the road past Lethendry onto a good track up the south side of forestry. Continued to the high point of the track then took a line toward the cairn at 630m. from here followed a new looking fence, through a gate, and on to the summit. Very windy. Returned to gate and did a falling traverse of the hillside to a gate in a fence, crossed this and followed a track back to the ascent route, also visited the castle ( very ruined, not worth the effort), and the Speyside way at the old railway bridge.
