My guess: It is roughly 8 km. It took Graeme D 3.5 hours, maybe we could do it in 6-7 hours.

Parking before the turning area and start of the walk (Scoraig path):

We left the path after about 500 m and started to climb diagonally up the slope pathless:

IMG_20230213_111559669_HDR-50.jpg

The ground was wet, several boggy areas, mostly grass.

Looking back - Corbett Sail Mhòr beyond Little Loch Broom:

With Beinn Ghobhlach in sight, we continued over a shallow saddle east of point 338 m...:

...then down to two lochans and then to the saddle in the middle of the ridge (red line):

The descent to lochans was over ground covered with tussocks, wet in places. Fortunately, it was a short section.

Behind the lochans was a stream that had to be crossed. We found the narrowest part of the stream and jumped over it:

Half way up we needed a break. For some reason we were a bit exhausted :wtf: , maybe just hungry. We had our first lunch there and then continued up zigzag, with a few stops. Looking back:

We really enjoyed the scenic views from the hill. 8)

After a well-deserved lunch we headed to the next hill:
IMG_20230213_152557467_HDR-50.jpg

The descent was quite steep and wet in places. We walked almost straight down towards the beach. Next time I would descend more to the east. Looking back:

Lovely beach:

From the saddle to the top, it is roughly 300 m through a mix of grass and the rocks:

Better watch out! The way to the top is guarded by rock dragons! :D

It was already very late...:
IMG_2691-50.JPG

...so we walked from the top almost straight down to the car, in the direction of Sail Mhòr:
IMG_20230213_173241221-50.jpg

The ground was wet, soggy in some places and further down... I do not know because it was dark and I only had one head torch for four people. Luckily, we arrived at the car without an accident.

We reached the car only after dark. At least we could watch the night sky. :) :

If possible reserve good weather for it. The views are really scenic.
