An SMMC meet at Braemar, parked at Keilloch and walked in past Invercauld and round to the track up Glas Allt Beag, was harder than expected due to a new fence in the way at 163936, but not too bad.My idea was to head up the glen to the end of the track then head northward to gain the ridge between Meall Glasail Beag and the top at 863m, however this slope was loaded with blown snow while the way up to Carn Liath was clearer, no brainer so Carn Liath, then a visit to all the cairns, before dropping to Beallach Dearg to pick up the track back to Invercauld, great day out and thanks to Ray Stuart for the company and local knowledge
