This was the second day of my first meet with the Glasgow University Mountaineering Club (staying in Killiecrankie). The weather was cloudier than the day before, where I had made my first munro forays up Beinn a'Glho, and the wind was no less harsh either. As a relatively large group, we did the usual Walk Highlands route, starting from the A9 start point at circa 10:00. The initial ascent up to the relatively flat up proved to separate the group a lot, and at the work between the two munros the leaders chose to split us in half. My section went to A' Bhuidheanach Bheag first, having lunch between that summit and the fork. Both groups ended up crossing paths at the fork again before we made our way to Carn na Caim. The views were good from the summits, though I preferred the view of Drumotcher Pass from the ascent path, where I could go a bit of trainspotting from above. We returned to the layby we started from by circa 16:00 and waited for our club's minibus in bothy bags when it began raining.
