Parked off road at passing place with space, and walked down the road to another passing place where the gate in the deer fence was visible, descended carefully through gorse and through gate, a reasonable if boggy path led up to a point where the Allt Claonaidh was crossed, above and below the burn ran through what was a bit of a canyon. Wanted to ascend Cioch Beinn na Eoin, so headed north-west and did a rising traverse below sandstone crags to round out on top, then just walked along the ridge to the top. Continued along to the north top and found steep slopes down to the col above a lovely lochan, do not go too far north on descent, there are crags, wind and rain showers were becoming more frequent so did no scrambling on the ascent of Sgorr Tuath, though there was plenty available. From there took a line toward the foot of rock outcrops on Cioch and over increasingly wet ground back to the outward path, and the car.
