This walk had a lot to live up to after the previous weekend's travails on the Creag Meagaidh group, but you do not pass up the opportunity of two blue sky Saturdays in a row!

Much of last week's snow had melted away, and lower slopes had stayed fairly dry, all making for faster walking. This is a great wee round with 2 climbs that will keep you honest. A brutal north wind on the tops kept me ventilated, but unfortunately was a factor in the loss of a glove coming off Beinn a'Chaorainn :(

Anyway, I got over it fairly quickly, in such sunshine and excellent visibility, how can you possibly be in a bad mood? Descent from Beinn Teallach must be one of the quickest - lovely spongy ground with a gradual gradient all the way.

4 hours very well spent.

These 2 are very much on my radar and hopefully this will be the year.

The way you are working your way along the A86, it almost looks like you have a plan of action..............

PS - not sure about the selfie

Nice one Gordie, look forward to reading about your go at these. You'll have no difficulties given the way you've been bashing through the munros so far this year :D

No plan of action i'm afraid, other than 'what are the closest unclimbed munros that will cost me the least in petrol?'

Thinking about a possible trip into Culra next. What about you?
