Drove down late last night and parked beside the llamas over the Bridge in the wee car park at Little town.
Not too bad a sleep as it wasn't too cold
And so it was along the track and up the back way onto Cat Bells. One other person coming off it , so that meant , probably a rarity, a wee sit down all to myself on Cat Bells.
A few pics, a few thoughts, and it was time to get on and round the circuit. Next up was down and up to Maiden Moor

Maiden Moor looking across to a couple I'll be on later

Not much ascent/ descent from here along the 2km to High spy, visiting the nice wee cairn about half way along.

The " nice wee cairn" and decent view from it - only a short detour to it.

High Spy

A fair descent down to about 490 from here, round the wee " lochan" , where there were a few campers packing up. Up now and into a bit of mist for a bit

Not much to stay for on Dale head so it was a nice wee descent down round and up to Hindscarth with views over to The tops above Buttermere.
Finally spoke to someone on top of Hindscarth!!
Had a good break up here and a bit of time to myself. Went down to the other cairn and had a look down the ridge.

Then it was time to head round to Robinson and today's final peak.

Decided to get the flag out again and modify it a bit today.

Time to head back and decided to stay high.

My route back on the left

Went for the wee scrambles on the way back rather than head to the right and down to the wee reservoir.
Not too difficult, it was clear, take your time , look around you and sort your route through it and down. Only once did I have to face the rock and perform a dreepy!! 😄
