Please note that the faint path is approximately 100m on your LHS from the first gate with a stile, do not walk on as we did for approx 1Km and then had to clamber up hill as there is no path, this added quite a bit to our walk. There is a large white boulder just beside the path, if walking in poor visibility and rain as we did you will not see the cairn or stoney outcrop that is mentioned as they are situated quite a bit off the road. This walk is relentless and boggy, we had no view due to rain and low cloud.
