Some absolutely beautiful views (when the sky cleared) on all sides of these Munro's, but a steep climb, and plenty rough terrain that turned into rivers after substantial rain.
We went for Beinn Dorain first, and took the route to the right around the back and up to the Cairn. This revealed some lovely views that really gave a sense of the height.
Unfortunately the weather closed in for most of the rest of the journey.
Once we crossed back over for Beinn an Dothaidh, we found the grassy area saturated and made choosing your path important, but good options were easy to find.
The return journey starts off well on grass, then drops down back onto the rocky way you assend.
In total it's a bit of a challenge on the knees, but a great area, with great views. I would do it again for the full spectacle.
