Cycled in from Attadale the night before, 12.8km, and spent the night in Bendronaig bothy, complete with flushing toilet. In the morning took the track up to Loch Calavie, and took to the hillside as the track descended to the Loch shore, headed up toward the beallach between BACS and Lurg Mhor and found what I expect is the track up from the sign the estate has at the Loch shore. Followed this for a while then headedNW to approach BACS, lovely view from the summit. followed the path back to the beallach, then on to the summit of Lurg Mhor. Now the hard bit, the ridge from Lurg Mhor to Meall Mhoris quite gnarly in places requiring quite committing downclimbing on and around steeply sloping slabs, and one or two tricky moves, however with the rock being dry and visibility good it was just a question of taking time, and Meall Mhor was soon reached. The view from here past Pait Lodge and down Loch Monar was excellent. Took the easy SE ridge to descend to the path to Pait at about 330m, and followed this all the way back to the bothy, then cycled out. A grand day of top bagging.
