After a couple of months of no hills (illness followed by a house move to blame), consoling myself only with the constant rain of July & August, just had to get out in some space. While the rest of the country basked in warm, humid, air, I managed to find one of the few places with rain and (especially) a lot of wind! That said, there was at least an hour or two of the sun poking through, and the wind meant I dried of after each shower. A big challenge after my fitness levels had dropped significantly - the main climb of the day is pathless and unrelenting - but looking ahead now to hopefully a couple of nights over the hill at Culra for Ben Alder and co :)
