After an overnight 'wild' camp in the car park (!), two women and a dog set off, excited for what lay ahead. That was quite quickly extinguished by the steel rope bridge crossing (DID.NOT.LIKE) and then wading knee deep through the river and subsequent bog. Still, at least I didn't have to do any of that with a wee dog down the front of my jacket...

It was literally and figuratively almost all uphill from there however! What a cracking route, staying high all day with amazing views everywhere I looked. Enough scrambly bits to keep it interesting without ever being tricky. Inevitably the descent is looong, boring and tough on the knees. In retrospect we decided it would have been better to park at the lower car park and do the extra bit of road walking first thing.

Munros 116-119.
