After the rubbish wet and windy weather of the past few days thought I’d make the most of a free morning and pinged up to Green Knowes Windfarm from just outside Edinburgh.
The walk itself it very easy, following the Windfarm dirt tracks pretty much all the way to the summit. Only the last 500m takes you off the tracks to the trig point summit.
From the top you get some great views looking north both towards the Cairngorms range and the likes of Ben More, Chonzie and Lomond.
Yep, I know a lot of mixed opinions about Windfarms but when you get a morning like this anywhere looks braw!
