-8C at dawn.

Very icy, every splash and bog frozen, bit of snow but no depth to it, blue sky day, bitterly cold.

Waders on for the river crossing - stashed them for the ascent, absolutely frozen solid for the return crossing….joy !

Did the tops to make a day of it, great viz.
