When we started from the track at Ardvorlich house it was a fine crisp March day, Ben Vorlich looked terrific with snow on the tops. A good path quickly led us up to the summit of Vorlich and although there was snow on the tops we decided to tackle Stuc a Chroin. We decended following the line of fence posts down to the Bealach an Dubh Chorein unfortunately we missed the path and as the weather was starting to close in we decided to call it a day. Stuc a Chroin would be there another day.

I did this same walk last week and was a bit scunnered about not being able to see any way up Stuc because of the weather. That mythical path eluded me too!!!

Like you, I'm going back in clearer weather 8)
