Finally completed today. Not the most scenic part of the route and had planned to cycle this bit but it was such a glorious day I walked it in 5.2 hours.
Meant to get bus there and walk back but had just missed bus so just started walking. Parked at recycling bins as bus stop is right there and took 20 mins to walk to actual path.

It is beautiful to begin with but once in the forest, you’re just staring at trees. Still nice though.

Gets interesting again on approach to Leuchars. Stopped at antique shop in Guardbridge for soup n scones, then just another 4.5 miles to St A. This part is also boring and on a tarmac path next to busy road. Got the 92 bus back for just under £4. It was a minibus that whizzed round the back roads and got me back to car in 30 mins.

Though not as beautiful or interesting as other parts of the trail, I still had a top day out and only one wee blister.

Will sleep well tonight
