Day out with dad for a circuit of Donald’s. Parked at the Megget stone (enough room for 2 cars). Opted to add in another Donald and Top to the WH Broad Law route. First headed up to Talla Cleuch Head (Donald), leaving the WH route through a gate before reaching Cairn Law. No feature on Talla Cleuch Head. Find the highest point and hope for the best

From here, followed the fence line back up to cairn law before passing through the gate to head north to Broad Law(Corbett/Donald)

Again, following the fencing heading N/NE/N to arrive at the “small cairn near the corner of the wall” to take in Fifescar Knowe (Donald Top)

Follow the fence….. again…. And 10/15 minutes (or slower or quicker) we arrived at Dollar Law (Donald) marked with a trig point

Heading back to the Bealach and picking up a very faint path heading SE. We arrived at the gate which would take you down the descent path but stayed to the left of the fence to take in Notman Law (Donald Top) marked by a tiny cairn

From here it’s a matter of doubling back and then picking up the WH decent route or following the shoulder down off Notman Law… then down through the bracken. We chose the later and did rejoin the track much further down.

And then not forgetting the 5km walk back along the road to the start point

Long walk back

Mist hanging about, very few views but better than forecast. Snow line sitting about 700m so some trail breaking required. Still great to be out and about. Some more pics
