Myself Ryan Ian and Jake set of at half 8 to tackle the 3 munros of beinn a ghlo which would take me to the 50 munro milestone,if we could handle the weather It was ok to start with and we got to the top of carn laith with no probs except a strong windA nice irish guy took our picture on the top and after a quick bite to eat we set of for braigh coire chruinn bhalgain(bccb from now on)It was here we got hit with a hail shower which was no niceBy the time we got down to the col the shower had passed and we got clear views all the way up to bccbAnother pit stop on bccb and then of to carn nan ghabhar where again we got to the col and this time got hit with a blizzard ,could not believe this was almost june this bad spell stayed with us right to the top of carn nan ghabharSat on carn nan ghabhar for a bit then began the long trek back in really strong winds ,we could hardly stand at some points but the skies did clear for decent spellsls at timesReally enjoyed this day it was a tough battle againgst the elements at times but we got there ,only downer was the long boggy track back down the glen to meet the track,nasty or whit

Good stuff pigeon on getting round in that weather I experienced it myself up Ben Lawers on Saturday too, the wind was quite strong up top to say the least along with the hail and snow, not nice. Well done on getting to the 50 mark

Good effort on getting to 50. Im hoping to get to double figures in the next couple of weeks !!

Congrats on 50..great effort on such a wild day....was up Ben Chonzie on Saturday and we had the whole 4 seasons in one day,it just shouldnt be so windy in May!!

Good effort in nasty conditions - & congrats on the 50.

Was out on Saturday too but decided to not to go too high so went up a Graham (Hunt Hill in Glen Esk). Conditions were pretty good considering (only got rained on properly once) but there looked like a nasty storm over Lochnagar.

Great effort to reach 50 in that weather,its a long walk out from this one also

Beinn a ghlo would take you nicely to the 10 Del Thanks everyone for the comments ,well done to all who got out at the weekend surely June can bring us some better weather
