On our drive from Newtonmore to Durness we passed Ben Kilbreck. It was decided that the most efficient use of our time was to tackle this en route. We left a little late in the day to normal, but with plenty of light it wouldnt be a problem. A well walked route, its a bit of a grind up initially, with boggy/haggy sections crossed after the first shoulder and the traverse section (which was also a bit slidey at the start.
The walk is rewarded with an excellent view at the top but it is deceptively long.

Summit pic.

Looks like three trigs have been constructed at the summit and all three have perished at the hands of the weather.
