Originally I was going to do The Lawers 7 from Ben Lawers Hotel, even though I have already done Ben Lawers and Beinn Glass before. But after a look at the 8 mile bike ride from the finish point North of Lochan na Lairige I decided to split it and I did 3 this morning .

19. Meall Greigh
20. Meall Garb
21. An Stac

I am not mountain fit at the moment so the climb was long and slow. Visibility disappeared at about 700m. Weather deteriorated further at Meall Garb cloud cover thickened and wind increased to about 35mph for about 1 hour.I also lost the path up An Stac and ended up climbing a bit of cliff which did nothing for my heart or my trousers!! Bit it was safer to carry on than try to go back down! It was an unpleasant experience and would say the other side is slightly more user friendly. The descent from there to the Lochan is quite steep but with improved visibility was a little better than An Stac. The rest of the route is very boggy all the way to the small Dam and then onwards back to the farm and down to the road and Ben Lawers Hotel car park.
On the way back I saw 2 lots of 3 walkers on their way up. Cloud was still hugging the peaks with parts of the ridge now clear and the weather was great below 600m.
