Great day.left the house at 515 and headed for Hartsop car park. Set off by about 8 which was good. Not many people around just now.
Along the track and down over the bridge and looked out for the wee path, heading up steeply!!!

Was treated to 3 jets continuously flying round on my way up. Awesome

From here it was time to get round the bug circuit, down and up to Thornthwaite and it's large beacon cairn. I was watching the mist rolling over helvellyn etc. Coming my way, and it did just as I approached the cairn.

From here he short descent and pull up to the trig on high street where it all cleared again.

Looking over to high street from kidsty pike

From being quiet it suddenly dawned that people were everywhere now, coming ftom all different directions and heading for different hills!!
High Raise next another short descent and ascent up to the cairn.
Back down and up and skirt the crags / boulders and onto Rampsgill head. Couple of cairns up here , so visited them all. .

Down now to the good path and another short ascent up to The knott - nice big cairn and nice views over to the crags below Rampsgill head

Enjoy yourself - its later than you think

Big drop ( ish) from here down then back up sharply to Rest Dodd. A few wee deer watching me as I moved along. Sat up here for a bit. I knew I was going to go and finish on the Nab but still sat up herd for a while and thought about it. The wee bit of re ascent wasn't ticking all the boxes with me.
Anyway , got myself together headed down, through the wall , and with it being dry ( ish) , the swamp and bog and peat hags weren't too bad to negotiate ( been through a lot worse up here)

The Nab

And back to almost the wall, faint path about 100m before it, heading right, on this , up through the wall eventually, up and onto another wee path leading to the wall below Brock crags.
