This was one I had to tick off the list as I came to complete this walk 2 years ago and due to bad weather we had to turn back.
After a talk through it with the group I was with we decided to do the route anti-clockwise and I so glad we did. I’m not one for heights in some scenarios and this was one of them. The walk up the first Munro was stunning, looking back and seeing the view of Glen Nevis reminded me of why I love the highlands so much!
Devils Ridge kept my heart in my mouth but you have to face your fears and power through!! The middle part of the walk was just breathtaking. The views along the tops were amazing. We were so lucky to have the amazing weather we did. Being able to see for miles!!
There were areas where the path didn’t seem clear and some challenging scrambles made for an interesting walk.
The descent down the last Munro was hard on the knees and we were concerned the waterfall may be difficult to cross but the rain had relented making this a breeze. We decided to take off our boots and walk across the river to finish.
The best walk I’ve done in the UK by far.
