There have already been 2 excellent reports from this trip by Stretch and Gammy leg walker so i want to just share some pics from my best day out since i started hillwalking ( i have said this a few times but i doubt anything will top this)
We were joined by Graeme (sparra legs) , Stuart and their 2 mates from cumbernauld and also by Gable Gable end (Stuart), was great to meet you GGE really enjoyed your company and hopefully we can all meet up again soon.
My only downside to this was that my mate James couldnt make it but then in a way im glad of this as its the perfect excuse to go back up there again soon :D.
I must thank the Cumbernauld boys for going out there way to help us across this, cheers guys 8)

I must aplogise for the amount of pics but i just couldnt bring myself to delete anymore as i took nearly 100 shots of this magnificent ridge, and also that they are in no specific order as my memory card is acting up and has mixed up all my pics

Hope you enjoy
Alan :D

Brilliant set of pictures Alan, but there is two that really stand out for me,no 155 & no 177 both show the amount of exposure on that section, even though the moves reqd did not seam that hard at the time  :wtf: :wtf:

Maybe I can help you skuk007,I"m afraid both are down climbs, the best advice I can give is the same advice I was given by Stewat & Graham who helped us over the ridge, face in the way, make sure you have 3 points of contact at all times with the rock,ie 2 feet 1 hand or 2 hands 1 foot, always give the rock you want to hold or stand on a wee pull or kick to make sure its solid, try and keep your body away from the rock so you can look down,& take time with each move.

Yep a true scrambler nothing will stand in your way now :D

skuk007 wrote:Please tell me you dont have to down-climb the front of pics 38 and 60, pretty please.

Hi Skuk.
Some good advice from Gammy there, but i will say one thing... pictures can be decieving :) .
For me it wasnt as bad as i thought it would be by looking at previous pictures and even once you have climbed down those steep parts you look back and say "did i just come down that"
We will be heading up there again soon so that JB can do it and already i cant wait, maybe you could join us if you are up this way :D

Cheers all
Alan
