Another cracking day out. Driving up through Glencoe then into Fort William the rain didn’t let up and the rain for Laggan was forecast to come in from noon but held off for us!

A good track to the Lochan. Although WH does make it clear. Ensure to bear left where the track splits at the beginning. If you go round a gate and reach houses…. You’ve went right and will need to turn around…. From first hand experience

So with that hiccup out the way, followed the good track to Lochan na h-Earba which has a wee sandy beach!

We chose to omit Beinn a' Chlachair on this visit which I will return for, for no special reason other than we wanted to. So followed the path right up to the Bealach. From here its a left and then pick a point, up onto the shoulder heading for Geal Chàrn

Geal Chàrn

Heading back down to the Bealach between Geal Chàrn and Creag Pitridh, it’s a matter of picking a point and going for it. From the Bealach there is a good, easy to follow path up the steep side of Creag Pitridh which makes the going easier so best to find it!

A sweet little photo spot

Heading back down, you can see the abundance of peat hags but by hanging to the right, they are entirely avoidable. Rejoined the track and back down to the Lochan for a wee 10 minute break

As if we hadnt lucked out enough already with the weather. Not long after leaving the Lochan, 2 lovely gents then passed in a van and gave us a lift down the remaining 5km! Thanks guys, incase yous couldn’t tell, it was greatly appreciated. So that saved us about an hour.
