The weather forecast wasn't looking overly optimistic so decided against the loop. Parked on a grassy area just north of the bridge at NN015657 then walked back down the road a short way before going through a gate to walk past the ancient MacLeans of Ardgour burial ground.

Steeply uphill over pathless ground

Got through the lower level cloud but still very grey above

Mostly WNW until reaching the foot of the ridge to Sgùrr na h-Eachainne. Turned south to go up the ridge past 700m. Some views looking back.

Westerly direction past some lochans to get to the summit.
