My two friends and I decided to attempt the Ring of Steall in late September 2024, sadly the day was a bit of a disappointment because the visibility was zero, meaning we were afforded no summit views on any of the four Munros!

We stayed at Glen Nevis campsite on the Friday evening, arriving at around 10pm after leaving Edinburgh after work. We left the campsite early to get to the start point on Saturday morning and began the hike at around 7am.

Glen Nevis campsite, £15 - well worth it although someone pitched next to us snored all night...
