Arrived at the ski centre at 7am to head for Ben Macdui with a bit of low clound hanging around so decided to take the direct path around to Ben Macdui. The cloud was starting to lift when reaching beside Cairn Lochan and was improving the further in I went giving me great views of Braeriach, Angels Peak, Cairn Toul and the Devils point can't wait to get at them anyway arrived at Ben Macdui on where it started to snow not for to long though so took a few pics and headed on round to the the 2nd Munro Beinn Mheadhoin. I decided to nip over to Carn Etchachan to take in the waterfall but think I would have been better taking the path round to the right of Loch Etchachan as the scramble down Carn Etchachan was a bit on the slippy side but finally made it down ok and back onto the path where I was met by the local wildlife, didn't like to get to close as could see a lot of youngsters there so didn't know if they would get a bit protective like the Gouse I met half way up as I had startled it and its young so the baby's scarpered and I was accompanied buy the mother hissing a good bit up finally taking off back down and not long after I had reached the summit taking in the great views all around and Loch Avon. The Loch looked brilliant so I took another few snaps to make way on down to get the boots off and into the water, absolutely crystal clear brilliant not to bad on the feet as well so with the feet cooling down I had a bite to eat. I could see the cloud moving back in again on where shortly after the rain was on so got the boots back on and was off on up the path to the 3rd and final Munro of the day Cairn Gorm, I hadn,t seen anyone on my way round until approaching Cairn Gorm summit on where there was quite a few walkers to say the least but I didn't hang about as the rain was getting heavier so I continued down the path back to the car park getting back in time before a big down pour. Looking forward to getting back up that direction soon.
