Well, you've go to start somewhere ! I found this tougher than I imagined, or maybe it was just the trepidation of a first Munro conquest.
The drive up to Rowardennan from Drymen was twisty and potholed - for some reason for this ' blue riband ' of the Munros, I hadn't thought getting to the start would be so tough.
Then you find yourself stopping too much to enjoy the scenery, deflated by being in the company of ' Ben Lomond regulars ' on a Sunday afternoon constitutional and then with the duration, the midges started to attack. So all in all, it was quite humbling, though not in the most positive senses of the word !
Still, as I say you have to start somewhere. Onwards and upwards.
